A recently renovated barn conversion with 6-9 bedrooms providing spacious holiday accomodation for multi-family groups (up to 18 people), Dordogne Holidays is a complex comprising a large converted barn, enclosed garden, separate Summer House with cinema and games room, enclosed pool area and a further playing field.
Location
The barn is situated in the grounds of a 400 year old farmhouse in the Dordogne valley - arguably the most beautiful region in France! The surrounding area is packed with prehistoric attractions,chateaux, bastide towns, watersports, local markets and great restaurants. More details here and here.
Safe Family Holidays
The facilities have been designed for safe family holidays; the garden is enclosed with a lockable gate so that you don't have to worry about toddlers running off while you enjoy a glass of wine and the pool has a special child-safe latch to bar unsupervised entry.
Entertainment/Facilities
In addition to the holiday accomodation there is a separate summerhouse with table tennis, darts, mini-gym and its own cinema - so if it rains you and the children will never get bored.
There is also a huge private swimming pool (45' x 18') and adjoining paddling pool (15' x 15') set in an enclosed terrace which gets the sun all day long, but has a roofed area for shade as well.
Internet Access
The site has wireless internet access throughout, so keeping tabs on the office or in touch with friends and family is easy.
Flight Connections to the UK
We are 35 minutes drive east of Bergerac airport which offers direct flights from Stansted, Bristol, Liverpool (www.ryanair.com), Birmingham, Exeter, Leeds, Southampton and Gatwick (www.flybe.com)
